ledger-dbg software package provides command-line double-entry accounting program (debug symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ledger-dbg
ledger-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ledger-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ledger-dbg *
You will get with ledger-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
